Camping Songs is a reflection on the tranquility of spending time completely surrounded by nature, the happy memories that embody that time, and the deep and bitter sense of nostalgia those memories conjure. In essence, the Songs act like an old picture framed and hung where it is often seen yet never loses its effect.
Camping Songs is inspired by childhood memories of camping in the Southern Rockies, as well as video games Firewatch and What Remains of Edith Finch.
